my new obsession...

Every time I see these EnBW Kraftwerk buildings, I am "amazed"...I think it is because of the feeling of dream and Magic Realism literature it brings me...It is not beautiful, but it has its quality,(many other buildings are only written text, but not literature, some of them are even beautiful, but it is like one beautiful text written by someone who has read a lot of other beautiful texts-not original and has no soul.

I can't stop thinking about how boring it could be, or how grey it could be,....or how "invisible" it could be...or how it would look like if I designed it? Or how other architects I know would design it?

I am a little obsessed with it...
每次看到发电厂的这一堆建筑的时候都会看呆，大概是因为它这种似梦似幻的架势会让我想起“魔幻现实主义”这个词。我也会去设想我认识的建筑师会怎么设计这堆建筑；也会想到它很有可能以很无趣的样子或者低调到大家都忽略不计的灰色样子出现在大家面前。它也不好看，但却有文学的趣味。有多少建筑都只是语法准确的，甚至语法都不准确的一篇文章而已；还有些看起来很美，但就像美文看多了的人写出来的“美文”，没有原创的滋味。很少能称得上“文学作品”。
